Brian Cassie
A licensed Building Inspector with over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, Brian has a keen eye for detail and professional approach. Brian has expansive trade experience ranging from carpentry work, renovations, developing and building medium rise residential dwellings. He also has a sales and management background in national capacity, so he understands the importance of customer service.
His commitment to embracing and actively applying the latest building standards, techniques and materials guarantees Brian understands his role inside and out, delivering the highest standard to all of his clients.

Jan Cassie
Jan is a managing director of Dedant Building and Pest Inspections and has been working in the business since the beginning.
Jan comes from a background in administration, and has been instrumental in installing procedures and standards with the business to manage the customer experience.
Dedant is built on Jan and Brian's professional and courteous service philosphy, inspiring confidence and security throughout the inspection process.

Natalie Bristow
General Manager, Natalie is the driving force behind Dedant. She always has her fingers on the pulse and ensures that everything runs smoothly. Before joining the team in 2019, Natalie ran her own business. She comes from a varied background in business development, sales, HR and as a business owner. She loves helping our clients by ensuring that they receive the best possible service. Highly knowledgeable, Natalie is able to answer any and all of your questions.

Stephen Follet
Steve Follett is an experienced building and pest inspector, with over 40 years in the construction industry. Completing his Carpentry & Joinery apprenticeship in 1982, Steve is experienced in all facets of building and construction. Steve’s experience includes building residential homes, extensions, renovations, property maintenance, insurance repairs, townhouses and commercial buildings.
Steve is a registered builder, licensed building inspector and licensed pest technician. Steve has personally undertaken 1000’s of inspections and specialises in building and pest inspections, timber pest inspections, dilapidation reporting, termite treatments and commercial building inspections.
Steve has a wealth of knowledge of all aspects of home construction. This has given him the inside edge to understand why building defects occur and how to best rectify them. Steve is solution focused when conducting inspections. He takes pride in his reports and is a good communicator, making sure clients understand the reports.
Steve is based in the Moreton region, North Brisbane. He inspects properties in Ipswich, Moreton Bay, Brisbane, Logan and Redlands.

Christopher Audibert
After 20 years within the building industry, Chris joins the Dedant team as a Building and Pest Inspector. Warm and friendly, Chris always puts his clients at ease. With Chris, you know that you’re in good hands. He is thorough in his reporting and always makes sure his clients understand their reports.
Chris’ experience within the building industry includes building and renovating residential buildings and other structures. For much of his time within the industry, Chris ran his own tiling and bathroom renovations company with much success. Wanting to get off the tools, Chris became a licensed Building and Pest Inspector. He is qualified to do Building and Pest Inspections, Termite Inspections and Termite Management Barrier, Handover Inspections and General Pest Control Treatments.
Based on the Sunshine Coast, Chris services the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Northern Brisbane Region.

Michael Stone
Michael joins the Dedant team after working within the building industry for over 40 years. Knowledgable with hands-on experience, Michael is incredibly thorough when completing building and pest inspections. Michael’s experience includes building residential homes and other structures, renovations, extensions, painting and decorating, property maintenance and ensuring homes fully comply with safety regulations.
As a registered builder, licensed building inspector and licensed pest technician, Michael doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to building and pest inspections. Humble, honest and reliable, Michael goes out of his way to provide great service to clients. At Dedant, Michael completes pre-purchase building and pest inspections, building inspections, annual timber pest inspections and termite treatments.
Based in Redland Bay, Michael services the Redland Bay, Northern Gold Coast, Logan and South Brisbane regions.
LICENSED PEST TECHNICIAN / TERMITE SPECIALIST
David Ockendon
David is a licensed and experienced pest technician. Having undergone extensive training, David is licenced with QBCC and insured with Rapids Insurance. David looks after all of the pest control and termite barrier installations at DedAnt Building and Pest Inspections.
He regularly deals with both residential and commercial customers who seek solutions to their problems with vermin. His training and years on the job allow him to deal with everyday pests effectively and efficiently. David also takes pride in being able to answer all of his customers’ questions, and being extremely punctual.
When it comes to exterminating pests, he gets the job done.
ACCOUNTS
Stacey Pierce
Qualified with a Bachelor of Accounting, Stacey is our accounts superwoman. Stacey ensures all of our accounts and inspection reports are processed in a timely manner. Cool, calm and collected, Stacey is our go-to tech guru and has come to the rescue numerous times when our equipment has glitched or stopped working. In addition to all this, Stacey also helps organise inspections, termite barrier installations and annual services.
On the weekends, Stacey can be found at the beach with her kids or relaxing at home. Her favourite hobbies include doing puzzles, painting and weight lifting.
MARKETING
Rachel Murphy
After a period of substantial growth, Rachel joined the team in 2021 as our marketing sage. In charge of producing Dedant’s creative content, she can often be found on job sites taking photos of the inspectors as they complete inspections. Rachel also writes our blogs posts, website content and manages our Facebook page. At other times, she also helps schedule building and pest inspections. Recently relocated from Victoria, Rachel keeps us entertained with her attempts at the correct pronunciation and spelling of our local suburbs.
After work, she can be found out in the garden with a cup of tea or reading her book. Her favourite thing to do on weekends is going to the beach with her family before settling in for a movie at home with takeout.
